Tuning is as simple as changing the location of the wander lead. Use the chart sent with each antenna for proper placement. The chart to the left shows how it may look when you get one. You may use this chart for reference only
Different installations will have varying affects on SWR. Use the chart as a reference but you should test the antenna with an analyzer or SWR bridge to ensure a low SWR with your installation.
An antenna tuner must be used in cases when the antenna chart does NOT show a frequency for the
use of the alligator clip. When using a tuner, clip the alligator clip to the bottom of the coil or leave it unattached. This antenna is NOT designed nor meant for operation on a vehicle in motion.
